Thermal Phase in Bubbling Geometries

چکیده

We use matrix model to study thermal phase in bubbling half-BPS type IIB geometries with SO(4) × SO(4) symmetry. In near horizon limit, we find that thermal vacuum of bubbling geometries have disjoint parts, and each part is one phase of thermal system. We connect the thermal dynamics of bubbling geometries with one dimension fermions thermal system. Finally, we try to give a new possible way to resolve information loss puzzle. ∗E-mail: [email protected]

A prediction for bubbling geometries

We study the supersymmetric circular Wilson loops in N = 4 Yang-Mills theory. Their vacuum expectation values are computed in the parameter region that admits smooth bubbling geometry duals. The results are a prediction for the supergravity action evaluated on the bubbling geometries for Wilson loops.

A Pilot Study of Syngas Production from Bio-oil Thermal Cracking in a Bubbling Fluidized Bed Reactor

A fluidized bed reactor that is operating in the bubbling regime has been developed for the conversion of bio-oils to syngas. The reactor consists of a 7.6 cm I.D. (or internal diameter) bed, with an expanded freeboard. The volume of the reactor can be adjusted to vary the gas residence time. This reactor has been used to carry out either thermal or catalytic cracking for reforming bio-oils.A ga...

Coarse-graining of bubbling geometries and fuzzball conjecture

We compute black hole entropies and the “horizon” sizes from the fuzzball conjecture in the LLM bubbling geometries, based on coarse-graining on the gravity side. The differences of black hole microstates cannot be seen by classical observations. Conversely, by counting the possible deformations of the geometry which are not classically detectable, we can calculate the entropy. We carry out thi...

On-shell Action for Bubbling Geometries

We study the half-BPS sector of the AdS/CFT correspondence. In the full sector of the correspondence, on-shell actions in type IIB supergravity have been played crucial roles, for example in the GKP-Witten relation. We derive, therefore an on-shell action that reproduces a class of half-BPS solutions found by Lin, Lunin and Maldacena. These solutions describe the bubbling geometries in the supe...
